Come get lost in the music with us in this intimate performance of original music in a relaxed lounge-style venue. BYO.

The evening opens with Norwegian/Wellington singer-songwriter Hanne Jøstensen playing a solo set from her new EP The Lighthouse. The release has been described as having “moments of breathtaking beauty” (Muzic.NZ) and was featured on RNZ Sunday Morning. A fusion of her Nordic roots and Aotearoa home, expect evocative vocals and atmospheric piano that carry “a sense of stillness balanced with emotional depth” (NZ Musician).

There will be a break after Hanne's set with time to catch up in person.

The second set has Aucklander Peter Finlay performing his original songs, drawing from the important things in life that have personal meaning - people, places and experiences. His songs have strong blues influence, are rhythm driven and will often take a moment in time, a view, a feeling and build images many will relate to. They have a strong connection to the coast and nature - the colour of a sunrise, the song of a Tui.
