What’s it like to record at MoveSpace?
Jemilah - recorded her single ‘Sofa Bed’ here at MoveSpace over a weekend, with 9 session musicians, a part of a programme called The Single Release Project, supported by the Albert Eden Local Board. This is her experience of her weekend recording session here at MoveSpace’s Recording Room.

We have a large kitchen that is shared with our recording studio, Halfway Down. It has a stove, microwave, fridge, knives, forks and spoons, bowls, mugs, plates and glasses. Help yourself to the teas and coffee, and plant based milks available..
Leave it better than you found it
We pride ourselves on having an affordable space for creators to showcase and host their events. Our policy is simply to treat the space with respect, if you have food, do give the space a quick vacuum, and wipe down of any tables. Do please come expecting to have to set up and re-setup the space.
